JSIL History

We are built on the proud legacy of Umm-Jawaby, established in 1982 as an oil and gas service company to serve as a key partner for the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in international operations. Over the past four decades, we have built a reputation as a trusted partner in Libya’s energy landscape, establishing a reliable presence both nationally and internationally.

In 2009, with a vision to diversify and broaden our impact, we focused on the property investment sector as Jawaby Property Investment. This evolution marked a pivotal phase in our growth, as we began building a diversified portfolio to meet the dynamic needs of our clients across various industries.

In 2024 we reintroduced ourselves as Jawaby Services and Investment Limited, a name that reflects our expanded roots and our diverse service lines across property investment, procurement, and training services sector.

Who we are

Jawaby Services and Investment Limited (JSIL) is wholly owned by Libya’s National Oil Corporation and operates as a subsidiary of the Mediterranean Oil Services Company. Grounded in principles of integrity, innovation and growth, we apply a breadth of expertise to address the full range of business needs across three service lines: property investment and procurement and training services predominantly in the oil & gas sectors.

Anchored in the rich energy heritage and established position of our parent company, JSIL is built on a foundation of strong industry relationships and in-depth sector knowledge. Our headquarters in London places us at the heart of a dynamic market, empowering us to deliver exceptional services to our global clientele.
